This is such a GRAPE pen. I was tempted not to LEAF reviews, but the way this
pen functions was so VINE that I absolutely had to say something. Ahaha. Ha.
This is a great pen!! I love the miffy pens! They are so cute and work very
well. I especially love the way the ink flows!! It doesn't tire out your hand
out at all, and the nib isn't scratchy. It actually feels like writing with gel
(very minimally and in a good, unweird way)! The color is your basic purple,
nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. My one complaint is that this pen takes
warming up to get the ink to flow. Also, the pen cap is very fragile, and
snapped off, as with my other (lavender) miffy pen. All and all a cheap, awesome
pen!!!
I had purchased just one of these pens and fell in love with the way it wrote. I
liked it so much that I went back and bought back-ups. But after using it for an
extended period of time, I found that it started to skip and write
inconsistently. When it worked, it was great! Crisp lines and a soft scent that
was only obvious if you got close to the paper (which is a plus to those who get
headaches from strong smells). The longer I wrote with it, the more it would
start skipping - to the point where it was just frustrating. I will still be
using the rest of these pens to jot down the grocery list, but I will not be
using them for any kind of writing where the flow matters. I don't think I'll be
getting any replacements.
This pen can get a bit skippy at times, which is annoying when I'm trying to jot
notes down in the margin of a text book (which is why I got such a fine tip
pen). The color is lovely and the scent is subtle.
The pen is super cute, but even with a dedicated grip area, it's not that
comfortable to hold. The ink is a great color, but the flow is not continuous.
I often have to turn the pen while I'm writing to get the flow going again. I
can also hear the pen scratching against the paper as I write. The scent is not
overpowering at all and is actually quite pleasant.
I saw these pens and wanted to give one a try before buying more. This pen did
not disappoint. High quality ink and tip plus my favorite color. Super smooth
writing.
