Best backpack I've ever owned for keeping all my drawing stuff in. The storage
is excellent and it would have a perfect 5/5 stars if the zipper didn't misalign
on me twice now. I was able to fix it by un-zipping it all the way back down to
the furthest the zipper would go, but when I shell out almost $100 on a backpack
I don't expect it to f*ck up as much as this one has in the short time I've
owned it.
This is my 5th Doughnut backpack. . They are extremely well made and durable. I
wish i would have got this in the larger size. For reference, imam 5’6” and
i weight 215 pounds. This bag does not fit on my body well with winter coats.
Its fine for a quick trip if it sits on my lap but not on my body. The material
is so nice. I got stuck in moderate snowfall yesterday and had to set my
backpack on the ground while waiting for the bus. Nothing inside got wet. If you
are consider this or any Doughnut back pack they are worth the money.
I couldn't not pay a few extra dollars for this gorgeous, totally black inside
and out bag, which I bought mainly to use while bike riding, as I can no longer
wear my fave messenger bag without neck pain. It's the perfect size for someone
like me, who tends to toss too much stuff in any bag. The only things I do wish
were bigger are the outer, side pockets; the water bottles I have happen to be
just barely too big to fit, though they fit the inner side pockets just fine.
This is super well made and the fabric and hardware are sturdy. I've made only
one addition, a tab in the very front pocket to clip my keys to. I love this
backpack so much.
Ordered Friday night, arrived Thursday morning. For those worried if it's authentic, it is! Inside the bag there's a tag that
has instructions for you to double check. I also measured the dimensions and
it's all correct. Quality is good too. I mainly bought the bag for the laptop compartment. Mine is 13.5 inches and fits
inside with tons of room. If I notice anything wrong with my bag, I'll update review.
LOVE THIS BACKPACK. I had long admired the Doughnut Black-on-Black, but was
committed to my cross-body bag. When I pulled a hip muscle, the need for more
balanced carrying of my gear was a good excuse for finally buying this. It has
surpassed all my expectations for storage and comfortable transport. Some
reviews cite the standard size as disappointingly small, but I found the
opposite to be true: More than enough room to carry more than I should probably
be carrying! On my first excursion with it, the backpack received compliments,
and well it should. It's a beauty. I am very happy with the purchase and still
using this backpack, healed hip muscle notwithstanding! Zippers work fine, and
the "forward tip" factor can be offset depending on how you pack the bag. And in

It's very comfortable and there is a lot of room for your things. My favorite
part about this backpack is how comfortable it is. I have to carry a lot of
techs and drawing supplies as well as my lunch since I am a student in art
school. Other backpacks would give me backaches, shoulder pain, and overall it
would weigh me down. With this backpack, I don't have any of those problems
anymore and the straps are really comfortable too and don't dig into my
shoulders or armpit area.
The quality of this item is excellent. I bought this for my daughter and the
size was difficult to visualize, even with the photographs. She's about 5'6" and
felt the medium backpack was smaller than expected. Still happy, though.
