I just took this bag on a week-long plein air painting trip to Sedona, AZ, and
it worked beautifully. Everyting I needed fit, including my Guerilla box, blocks
of paper, and sketchbook. Highly recommended!
I really like this bag. I got it when I started working on my bachelors in 2019
and I still use it. I'm a lit major and I carry quite a bit with books, iPad Pro
(fits in the back hidden pocket perfectly), and MacBook pro 15" (which fits in
the back pocket beautifully). So the weight varies because if I can use digital
versions of handouts, I do and I rarely have more than 2 classes in one day
which means I don't have a lot of books on me. With that being said, the bag can
get heavy with the stuff I carry during finals. The bag's held up well and it
doesn't dig into my shoulders when it's fully packed with books and electronics.
The only problem is that I've noticed that the straps are starting to separate
from the body. But I feel like I've really put the bag through it so it's
understandable.
Beautiful color, lightweight, and very spacious!! I would recommend having a
couple of other organizing pouches in order to keep everything in place, (though
I do carry a lot of things! Some people should be fine with the existing
pockets) but it's not a dealbreaker in any way. Honestly I feel like it's worth
the price point to get the extra details that were made with artists in mind.
