Adding and replacing refills with this pen body is a snap. The easy-open flip-top cap features a textured conical design that's easy to open one-handed. With the top cap open, you can simply drop a refill into one of the pen body's component slots.

This pen body also features a soft, comfortable grip section that is great for long writing and note-taking sessions.

Note: This is a pen body only. Ink, pencil, and eraser components are available separately and can be found under Recommended Refills/Parts.

This is as thin as the 1000 version, but has a grip part with a "rubbery feel" to it in the part where you hold the pen. In the end I think it depends on your writing preferences which one you prefer. I quite like this one, but if you go for a more "professional" look, then the 1000 is definitely your pick. I'm thinking that in use (and because I use these for my personal notes only), this might end up being my favorite over the 1000. But the differences are small and only time will tell.

I really wanted to love this pen but within the first few days the cap broke off. The comfort grip is also peeling (hasn't even been 2 weeks), and when switching colors, they are pretty flimsy and don't click on well.
