The durable, elegant Saki P-660 Roll pen case is made from a soft synthetic leather that is pleasant to the touch. A matching strap wraps stylishly around the case to tie it closed. The three roomy pockets inside hold three to four pens or pencils each, and you could even store a small ruler. A flap prevents your things from falling out of the case. Very elegant case, though...

Very elegant case, though it feels designed for slim pens or pencils versus writing implements like a TWSBI Eco or Lamy Safari that are medium to larger pens. I end up using only two of the three pockets in order to have it fold nicely. Perhaps it as it wears it will roll nicer than fold.

I am writing this review 2 years after purchasing this case and I couldn't be happier with this investment. My pen case base been loved and carried around and it still looks like new. It could carry 12 to 20 pens depending on the thickness of the pen. The stitching is superb 2 years of abuse and the stitching is still perfect.

An attractive and functional...

An attractive and functional pen roll. The faux leather is sturdy but flexible, and can hold a pretty decent quantity of pens or pencils. I have about 10 or 12 in mine.
It folds into more of a three sectioned folio than a roll, but that keeps it relatively flat. It does not have individual pockets for each items, but three large ones. I like the flexibility this affords and have found it snug enough to hold my contents without any issue.
Filling it with a lot of stuff or several very thick pens can make it a little challenging to fold neatly (I have several larger sized fountain and brush pens in mine.) but it's excellent overall.

I had been waiting for an all black version of the Saki Roll Pen case and I am happy to report that it is beautifully made. Though it isn't the most practical of pencil cases, its far from cumbersome and is sturdy yet pliable. Its leatherette material is very sleek and I definitely recommend it for those who want something a bit more stylish than your standard zipper case.
