Tombow has created (according to their research) the thinnest and most agile eraser line on the market! The insightful designer created an eraser that logically fits its function. With pencil leads so thin, the correction tool should be an eraser that is shaped similarly to its nemesis. Two shapes are available, a 2.3 mm round shape and a 2.5 mm x 5 mm rectangular shape.

The eraser can be advanced forward with a push of the top. The body features a metal holder at the end to withstand hard pressure. The design of the holder facilitates precise movements and includes a clip for easy carrying. The eraser is refillable, and is the same high quality eraser that Tombow is famous for.

Outstanding eraser. ...

Outstanding eraser. By FAR THE BEST if you write many involved equations, work with matrices, draw graphs or do other detailed work. This is a SPOT earaser, meant to earse just one character or two in a long equation without earaing the rest, or earse a tiny blemish close to a line on the graph. It has clearly made erasing screens obsolete.

Don't expect to use this for erasing a whole paragraph, or a sentence. You will use it up it no time. SPOT erasing only. PERFECT for chemistry, mathematics or physics students.

This is a nice eraser...

This is a nice eraser for erasing micro-details. I'm very happy with it and it complements my larger Staedtler eraser stick. One minor criticism is the mechanism allows the eraser to be pushed back up the sleeve if you apply to much pressure. Not a problem. You don't need to apply much pressure when erasing small detail. However if the sponginess bothers you then just by the refills and stuff it in an extra 2mm leadholder you may happen to have. A leadholder would actually allow you to use up almost the entire eraser because the leadholder jaws require little area to firmly hold the eraser in place.

I didn't buy this product through jetpens, but I'm writing a review anyway. This eraser had so much potential and could have been an awesome tool, but ultimately it fails to deliver. The body of the pencil is actually beautiful with it's matte finish and slick design. Every time I look at it, it makes me want to hold it and use it. But then comes the big flaws. The erasing power of the eraser is quite mediocre, which is surprising to me since Tombow makes the best block eraser. This one feels hard, gritty and abrasive on the paper. And again, doesn't erase the pencils completely. The other big problem is that 60% of the "eraser" that goes inside the body is actually useless plastic. That's right, you will be using only 40% of the length of the eraser stick. And the refills are not cheap.
