Sailor's double tip markers are filled with intense, beautiful inks. The unique
shade of gray has bluish purple undertones which sets it apart from cold grays.
These are not alcohol-based inks and the pens close tightly. . A refillable
version would be nice because the tips hold up well and I don't like throwing
away good pens just because they're empty.
Sailor's double tip markers are filled with intense, beautiful inks. Yozakura is
a nice deep pink/mauve that shows up beautifully on light paper. I enjoy it much
more than the lighter pink color. These are not alcohol-based inks and the pens
close tightly. The only thing I'd love to see more than the current pens would
be a refillable version because the tips hold up well and I don't like throwing
away good pens just because they're empty.
Sailor's double tip markers are filled with intense, beautiful inks. The Yuki
Akari is very light and it is often hard to see. Personally I wouldn't use it
for writing on bright white paper. These are not alcohol-based inks and the pens
close tightly. I wish these were refillable because the tips hold up well and I
don't like throwing away good pens just because they're empty.
I love this pen! It's one of the nicest midrange pens I have ever used. I love
the feel in my hand. The wood is finished so nicely that it feels almost velvety
in my hand. I have large hands and it still fits comfortably for long term
writing. The ink flows consistently and it's a pleasure to write with. I just
got the matching pencil and it's amazing too!
I got this pouch for a friend and he loves it. The only downside is that the
rubbery texture is a dust and dirt magnet and keeping it white is a challenge.
The good thing is that the silicone can be cleaned with a bit of alcohol on a
cotton ball to keep it looking nice.
My niece squee'd with delight when she opened this pouch for Christmas. She
loves anything with cats and this cute, soft pouch is now full of Hello Kitty
pens I also got for her.
I really like these letter sets. The envelopes are a nice pop of color in
someone's mailbox, instead of the boring white business envelopes most things
arrive in. The paper is nice with graphite, gel, ballpoint ink, and brush pens -
but I have not tried fountain pens to know how they perform on the paper.
I've owned and loved Book Darts since I first found them in the early 90s in
Portland, Oregon. Back then they were "real" copper and they developed a patina
(cool for me, but probably not the best for real archival purposes. These are
just as high quality and easy to use, plus I like the variety of colors so I can
create a code for what text is marked with which color Dart. I'm a huge fan of
Field Notes and they just came out with custom Book Darts, so I had to buy some
of those only a week after I received these! I cannot recommend any other page
marker more than Book Darts!
I really enjoy writing in color with the Uni EMOTT color leads. I have all of
the Zebra Sarasa Grand Vintage pens and I am super excited that these pencil
leads match well with them. I am going to order some of the other colors, but
Nostalgic likely will remain my fave!
I have to say that I already own the Pilot S20 pen, so I knew I was going to
love the velvety soft wood finish and the rich dark red color, but WOW! This
pencil is well balanced, with a low center of gravity and a nice length. I was a
bit concerned when I read reviews from people with small hands saying they loved
the feel of the pencil. I have large man-hands and sometimes Japanese writing
tools are too narrow or too short to be comfortable for long-term writing. But I
was pleasantly surprised that it fits nicely in my hand and writes like a dream.
I'm sure that some credit is due to the Pilot Neox B lead (which is divine), but
the design and balance of this pencil may make me shelve my Rotring 600s!
