If an employee hasn’t hit their metrics in 2 months and they respond with “I am doing my best I just haven’t had much luck closing” I shouldn’t assume they are just lazy. I can ask questions to understand the deeper cause whether it be skill issues, home life issues, or even lack of knowledge
