Setting boundaries is very essential for both work/life balance. Set your first week with timetable and with the Office routine as well. Slowly & simultaneously you will be clear within a month. From second monthly onwards your vision will be very clear & will be by hard in your own mind itself.

Initially there will be issue but later people understand and hesitate to call/disturb you after that time. I personally follow this and have mental peace. Time for family.

In today's world there are tools and technology available all around us. It's just a matter of how we use (or not use) them. I have found people are not keen to use technology as they are not familiar with its benefits. This is where teams can help each other by demonstrating benefits. Simple example, I encouraged our offshore team to start using a simple sharing tool like Sharepoint for information which was being shared on email and that made life easy for all as the information was available anytime and at one place.

No matter how important the task may seem but nothing is important more than you and your physical and mental health. -Make sure you have a self-care routine. Developing a self care routine is crucial for physical, mental and emotional well-being. -Spend time with your loved ones, meditate and exercise daily, pursue your hobbies. _Self care enhances your productivity and performance as well. It provides long term health benefits. -In the end I would say be kind to yourself.

Develop other skills outside work that help you to rejuvenate. May include volunteer work, charity, gardening, or something that you are passionate about.

Keeping all the work within your own reach is not always possible. Its always better to distribute the work among your subordinates & keep on checking those periodically. Make faith & feel free to ask questions which they don't understand. Understanding the things & then doing them will make improvement's rather than not understanding. When the direction is clear, you can easily run. But, if you don't then how will you move towards which direction.

When you can best align the tasks that need to be accomplished with your staffs' goals, they feel seen, and those employees will be efficient and effective in completing tasks that matter to them personally. Once you realise how much (limited) time you have for a particular task based on your total time you will automatically be forced to think about the other points.

Many a times team members just do the task but do not really know why is it being done. So, always encourage a culture to ask why? Lead by example by sharing with them and also ask each member to do the same in the area they specialize.
