At the lowest level this requires a skills gap analysis in order to identify the requirement and training that will allow those skills to be enabled. The training package selected to deliver the requirement, should consider both skills based training and Health and Safety and Compliance. Remember that off the shelf training courses rarely tick the boxes, for this reason, it is essential to involve the training & development teams from the very beginning KPI’s should be meaningful and tell us something about the process and effectiveness and these should be part of the planning not a consideration at the end.
