I've been in education since 2007 and I can spot a jaded teacher a mile away. The key in not becoming one is hunger for learning. You have to seek out learning new skills, or improving the ones you have, in order to improve. You also need to be reflective. What's your weak area? How can you make it a strength? We have to remember that we may be teachers, but the best of us are lifelong learners.

Feedback can feel like the F word. Feedback can be the best option to successfully move forward. Feedback can be your friend is used properly. Take time to consider how feedback can help you manage a better path to your goals. As educators we have a better change of teaching our students how to manage feedback if we embrace it ourselves.

Each of us are different from one another. Focus on your passion and your interest in the pursuit may never fail. Failure is a step toward enlightenment of your passion.
