I believe as a Content Creator or Influencer it is important to take a genuine, authentic and a humanistic route. I work on both sides, in Marketing/PR and a creative tech/software Influencer. So understand the importance of building a community based on trust. It becomes very obvious to viewers when someone is only interested in money or free products. Only share the products or services that you believe in. It is ok to turn brands down where there is no alignment.

Yes and No. I do think if you want to really attract followers you need to stick to one topic. However, I cover multiple: creative tech/software, marketing/PR, design and games. It makes my channels unique. And it lead 9k+ followers on LinkedIn. Covering multiple topics takes work and dedication to blend things, and not everyone can pull it off. Additionally, I feel if you choose to cover multiple topics they should relate. Mine fall into the realm of creativity.

Often showing leads examples of successful cooperation from their competitors or examples how others are doing what you are proposing can be eye opening and a trigger to a positive reply.

Actively participate in relevant online communities and discussions. Share insights, comment on posts, and build relationships with potential clients.

There are several tools out there. But most can not connect with LinkedIn. This is a lost opprotunity... As there are amazing Creators and KOLs here. I personally enjoy creating either informative or EDUTAINMENT pieces for LinkedIn. Things that will inspire otherd.

This is more for agencies, companies, and brands. It should not always be about vanity metrics. Do your research to see if the Creator matches your VOICE... and has similar audience. Find an Influencer or Creator that has the right alignment. Build a relationship with them and build trust. This can lead to FREE content. I have seen brands work with smaller Creators because they were a perfect match. They helped them grow along side the brand. This helped them turn the Influencer into an Evangelist for the brand. It should never be treated as a one night stand or a fling. Rather a growing relationship as it yields more benefits for both sides.
