When approaching my learning journey, I focus on becoming proficient in full stack development, particularly in React for frontend and Java for backend technologies. Clarifying this goal helps me prioritize learning resources that enhance my skills in both areas. For frontend development, mastering React component-based architecture and state management is crucial, while for backend tasks, understanding Java's robustness in handling server-side logic and database interactions is essential. This clear focus ensures I build a comprehensive understanding of both frontend and backend aspects, paving the way for a successful career in full stack development.

Choose a framework and the suitable programming language for it. Start by learning the programming language from basic to advanced levels using tutorials, websites, or any resources where you feel comfortable. Once you've grasped the language, dive into the framework to understand how it works and learn its basic fundamentals. Begin with some common projects to build your skills. As you gather foundational knowledge, deepen your understanding by exploring advanced topics. Engage with other developers, participate in solving problems, and contribute to real-life or industrial projects. Share your knowledge, learn from others, and continuously keep learning.

Choosing the right learning materials has been crucial for my journey. I've sifted through numerous tutorials, online courses, and documentation to find resources that match my learning style. Personally, I find interactive coding platforms most effective, but I also appreciate in-depth books and video tutorials for a comprehensive understanding. Quality has always been my focus over quantity—I believe in thoroughly mastering a few reliable resources rather than skimming through many.

Learning fundamentals is important, but in the right way. When you start, you can get stuck in tutorial hell while learning the basics. A better approach would be to learn the basics first and then start implementing and creating projects. While doing this, you can delve deeper into the basics. This way, you are simultaneously creating projects and gaining a deeper understanding of the basics. This deep knowledge will help you follow best practices and implement good code. It will also help you understand legacy code. So, focus on the basics while working on projects alongside.

Todos podemos empezar entusiasmados con la idea de aprender un nuevo lenguaje de programación, pero la clave son los fundamentos, principios sólidos y estructura, repetición y práctica, si tenemos esto desde el principio, el resto será más fácil y (sin restar importancia al todo) "solo" sería cuestión de sintaxis individual de cada lenguaje, de verdad no vayas directo a aprender la sintaxis de un lenguaje o a manejar un lenguaje concreto si no conoces los fundamentos, la casa sin pilares ... caerá, mucho ánimo!
