Em minha vivência aprendi que oferecer suporte não é fazer pelas pessoas, ou seja, estar disponível e apoiando quando o papel do líder precisar ser feito, gerir os conflitos, tomar decisões e posicionar os papeis adequadamente, lembrando que as pessoas precisam fazer por elas, tendo a devida clareza do que se espera.

One thing that I have found helpful that a manager should celebrate his/her team success even if it is a small one once a project is done of a certain task is accomplished as this will strengthen the team spirit , boosts morale and prepares for the challenges we will face.
