On the landlord side you're generally seeking to sell/lease space in your inventory to companies seeking space in a certain geographic area. On the tenant side, you're typically looking for spaces across a wide variety of markets across the country or the globe that meet a set of your common business needs.

I fully agree with this statement. I believe that there are three things that real estate professionals should do in order to perform their vocation in the most professional and passionate way: 1- Find strengths in the performance of their duties that others value; 2- Invest in continuous training in the field of these functions, or specializations; 3- Interact with other partners with similar specializations in order to find synergies that promote the improvement of their tasks.

As I mentioned earlier, continuing training is essential as a way of maintaining a balance between quality and keeping up with new market trends in real estate. Even so, I'd like to stress that it's entirely appropriate for continuing training to also focus on other, broader areas in the corporate real estate sector, such as management, finance, marketing, etc., which help us to have a more holistic view of corporate real estate.

Prefira especializações e cursos online do que graduações complementares... não invista 4 ou 5 anos numa faculdade com inúmeras cadeiras que não servirão para nada no mundo real. Faça o que é atual, aplicável e perceptível como valor de mercado. Não interessa quem criou a roda, importa como criar uma e a fazer rodar. Seja pragmático.
