Having a one on one Convo with them frequently and trying to understand their perspective and with this it builds trust in such a way that if any conflict emerges they can openly talk to you. Remain impartial during mediating an issue and always conduct the discussions in a neutral and private location to maintain a comfortable environment. Construction disputes majorly revolve around: cost overruns, cash flows, schedule and contract disputes. Hence, identifying the root cause should be the first step to solving a problem. After agreeing to a solution collaboratively, it should be followed on a regular basis by clarifying roles and responsibilities of both parties, keep a check on agreed solutions, enhance communication and provide training. Seek external help if required to avoid risk of increased cost, project delays, productivity and most importantly "team motivation!"
