The importance of networking can not be overstated. being in the right set of people will add to and enhance your perspective and sometimes casual discussions with the right gray matter can lead to ideas that can really make a difference. I have throughout my career sought to resolve and find solutions to problems, whether this has been developing new technology to remediate problem waste, environmental forensics or learning from past lessons in the energy transition. Whatever the problem, ensure you thoroughly research it and then start to devise your approach and solution.
