timeanddate.com is my favourite tool, especially their meeting planner for listing all the destinations of the people you need to call and find a convenient time for all. Also polling tools such as Doodle (free version is available) and Calendly (paid version with lots of features) are great for asking a group of people on different time zones when they might be available and you can can select the best for all. Doodle also has a feature to temporarily block the time in your calendar. I’m sure there are more tools, but these work for me. I couldn’t do my job without them. I work on multi-country, multi-language PR campaigns so turn to tech for solutions. It’s much better than pinging emails back and forth.

We work from China across to Hawaii so rotating call times is a way of showing you care about remote teams. Allowing them to connect from home is essential. If video, suggest blurring the background and you’ll find most video apps are great at silencing background noise such as children and animals
