Share purpose of the company (vision/ mission) along with core values of the company to achieve the purpose. Also discuss how individuals/ teams' work/ tasks contribute to the bigger purpose and the importance of core values along with few examples. I believe that purpose driven people are the ones who will have their goals already aligned with company culture.

Organize a workshop with your team to discuss and analyze the company's culture. Review the company's mission, vision, and values, and discuss how they are reflected in everyday operations and decisions. Then, work together to identify how these cultural elements can be incorporated into your team's goals and processes. Each person in the team must have the feeling of belonging to the company and being important for the company. This is how we engage them in being productive and helpful. No matter where or when, nobody likes to feel unimportant or unnecessary. I’ve been working with cross-cultural team for quite some time and this has always been an issue. To belong is a crucial human necessity. We must embrace every single person and give each of them certain amount of trust and space for them to feel accepted and necessary. So they can share more, and be more enthusiastic.

While the first member aims for fewer individual bugs, the second wants smooth group workflows. Finding the combined goal should be the goal, respecting both perspective.

Start with the culture first (if you want to establish fit). Note what actions are required to sustain that culture. Then find a way to integrate those actions with your team's mission.
