Understand your stakeholder expectations by understanding the demands and the deadlines of such expectations.Stakeholders include internal employees leaders, as well as external customers, beneficiaries, investors, and regulators. 2. Communicate your vision: involves clear explanation of your long-term and short-term goals, and how it aligns with their interests and needs. 3. Build relationships: Based on trust and open communication. Regularly check on them to understand their concerns, gather feedback, and keep them informed about the progress toward your vision. This will help you address their demands sooner than later.

To achieve equilibrium, a thought leader in an academic and research-oriented setting must proficiently translate complex theoretical constructs into actionable insights that stakeholders can appreciate and support. This requires a robust engagement strategy, where stakeholders are not only informed but also involved in the research process. When I lecture, I prepare their curiosity, and I consciously ask for their question or contributions. An interactive room is a lively room, where ideas can be shared or created.
