Its not about the process. It's about the empathy and story telling you use to tell people what you are trying to achieve. People want to achieve great things, with other people. If your current situation isn't motivating no amount of process will help. You need a leader who set's the right example. Who completely believes. And shows up everyday 100% committed and positive and encouraging.

Organizational Culture comes from Walking the Talk by the Leaders themselves. No matter how much team building exercises you do or training programs the team attends, in the long run, the team members turnout to be, at best, a shadow of the Leader. So, if you want to see maximum collaboration and teamwork, start at the top. Delegate responsibilities and make most of them to lead one or other project. Make them mini-leaders. By this, they will understand that they can not achieve anything without the co-operation of others. That way, they will also start contriuting positively in a team environment. It is important to define the non-negotiable values for the organization. This means not things that you stand for but you will never compromise on. This then should be inculcated in the very fabric of the team - right from hiring to how meetings are conducted. The three traits that work for most successful organizations are trust, respect, and humility. All cultural values are built on top of this.

As an example, collaborative backlog refinement involves the entire team in refining user stories and prioritizing the product backlog. This allows everyone to understand the work, dependencies, and overall product vision. Another important routine are the daily stand-up meetings, which encourage quick updates on progress, roadblocks, and dependencies.

Listen….. Listen to the selected team members voicing their opinions on organization’s goals and how they see themselves contributing to its success. A clear « what’s in it » for everyone is a success criteria to any organization in my opinion. No purpose no engagement no success…..

The best of collaboration and teamwork happen when functions and teams are very very well aligned to goal of organization and are very well *Trained* to analyze , and interpret inter function contribution to achieve result For e.g Be it Sales & Marketing aligning with the Operations team to estimate efficiency , delivery capabilities or production , client feedbacks to drive sales and marketing communications . And cross functional engagement also brings out challenging thought processes. To best meet this , there should collaborative incentives & rewards , defined cross functional engagement processes . If you put this into DNA of system , it will happen . 👍🤘
