First, you need to establish a system to collect feedback from customers. This can be done through surveys, feedback forms, customer support interactions, online reviews, or social media channels. Make it easy for customers to provide feedback and encourage them to share their opinions.

For example, feedback I synthesized from over 100 direct customer and partner interviews revealed a major pain point around locating current self-help product setup instructions and documentation. It wasn’t that it didn’t exist, but that it was confusing for customers and triggering service calls because the documentation that preceded release hadn’t been updated with the actual end functionality.
