All electrical equipment’s must be in proper IP 54 and above protection enclosures. All switch-gears should be tested for saline and wet environments and enclosures to be corrosion proof. Space heaters to be incorporated inside panels for proper temperatures. Switch and sockets to be IP Outdoor duty. Earth fault and leakage protection along with dedicated earthing for all electrical panels.

I believe, after installing all device according to local code - following IP rating etc, limit or better not using extension cords and power strips is one of the biggest contributors to human safety in wet environments. Prioritizing this protective attire is a prudent step in safeguarding against electrical accidents.

As long as you should work in wet area , first of all , all safety precautions should be followed, wearing isolated gloves , full safety shoes, and the material that used should be isolated also with good IP , all in all if it is not necessary to work when power source is on , close it and work safety, safety first 👌

Something a always mention to my close ones: always have footwear on when handling electrical equipment, including toasters, hair dryer, fridge, electric heaters of any kind, even the light switches. You never know when an item might be faulted and in that case of failure the only thing protecting you in your home will be your footwear

Always keep in mind that luminaires do have different areas of usage in bathrooms. E.g. Only low voltage luminaires inside the shower. Also IP Protection is key for luminaires!
