To understand the sprint goals and user stories : a)i believe a tester should be involved in the earlier phases of the feature : Like the PM should setup a call with everyone where they explain the feature and as a tester i always try to understand, ask any questions or probably even trying to think how we can improve it so in this way its clear b)As a tester i also believe that when we participate in sprint planning, grooming, backlog refinement we have much more exposure to that particular feature
