As a teacher, parent, or community member, you can help increase STEM awareness and engagement in your community by following some simple and effective strategies.

1 Identify local STEM resources

One of the first steps to increase STEM awareness in your community is to identify and connect with local STEM resources. These could include museums, libraries, universities, businesses, nonprofits, or clubs that offer STEM-related programs, events, or opportunities. You can also look for online resources, such as websites, podcasts, videos, or blogs, that showcase STEM topics and careers.
