It’s good practice but I agree to disagree that it can be followed always. You need breaks from structured approaches and give them a bit of uncertainty to keep your interest and not feel boredom. What I mean is you cannot always put your task in quadrant and then decide to do them, sometimes you may feel like doing something else. Above approach of dividing task in quadrants and then tackling them can be quite successful but one needs to maintain an uncertainty to help them not feel mechanical about what they are doing and gives them freedom to choose on what they want to.

If you are overworked, stressed and unhappy you cannot give your best. Managing your wellbeing should be a key priority and not an afterthought.
