One of my favorite ways to create a lived-in and collected space is by adding vintage and antique accessories to contemporary furnishings. I offer clients an array of accents and accessories that I’ve sourced from Round Top in Texas and Brimfield in Massachusetts. I find that if I don’t add in anything that has a history, the room looks too staged rather than lived in.

In my discovery phase, I always am sure to learn about the client's interests so that I can incorporate them via unique elements. Do they have fond memories of fly fishing with their grandfather at the vacation home they are renovating? Vintage, hand-tied flies framed in a shadow box would make an extra special accent piece.
