What are the different types of international organizations that work in human rights?

Sorry, but I am really not sure and suspect whether still exist organizations that work for human rights. However I am really sure that there are a lot of racist and apartheid organizations, states and lobbies that work to annihilate human rights, to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing.

NGOs are critical to a healthy society and democracy. Their impartiality and independence gives them credibility which means they are often seen as trustworthy, especially when through social media there is a huge amount of disinformation and fake news. However, NGOs should not take that trust for granted and make sure they have robust governance structures in place in order to hold themselves accountable and remain transparent.

Literally it mean every organized group that is not governmental - also used is the vague "civil society". A not-so-scientific but attractive definition of civil society is: “the glue that binds people together and constitutes some kind of organized sphere or culture”. It is useful to consider that organizations that do not relate in any way to the exercise of governmental power (e.g. chess clubs) are of course non-governmental but do not need this qualification. In areas such as human rights, NGOs are working in the same areas as Governments; so it is useful to mark them as ‘non-governmental’. In other words, the term non-governmental can only be understood in context and in the area of human rights its use makes perfect sense.

En plus, des renforcements de capacités, il faut soutenir les initiatives mises en place des uns et des autres... Il faut travailler en commun accord pour améliorer les performances en rendant les conditions d'intervention meilleures...

Are there universal standards? YES, human rights are universal and laid down in the 'international bill of human rights’. Although the answer is itself correct, it does not address the issue that some Governments and quite a few academics and religious scholars have in mind when they call it a ‘western product’, alien to their culture/religion. In responding to this charge a crucial distinction needs to be made: the universality of human rights versus its universalisation. The first is the principle that a core of human rights exists and applies to every person in the world. The second is the process by which these universal standards become a reality. The international system itself allows for differing interpretations.

Network organizations and human rights funder organizations are also part of the human rights ecosystem. An example is the Human Rights Funders Network. National human rights commissions and equality bodies in various countries can be very important institutions. They may be enacted through legislation, decree, or other means to protect and promote human rights at the national level.

I think humanitarian organizations of all types should not stay neutral when a genocide is taking place. When being neutral and impartial in such cases, the humanitarian organization would be supporting the oppressor and the tormentor, not the victims and the tormented. In whatever situation, the humanitarian organization should support vulnerable populations (children, women, the elderly, persons with physical and mental difficulties, etc.), the oppressed, and the victims!
