What do you do if HR professionals are key to shaping the future of work?

One of my HR Friends had rightly said that HRs are like corporate mothers, who when does their work, no one notices, but if they do not, then it can be a mess. It is time that workforce and HRs themselves start appreciating what value they bring. HRs are responsible for building brands, brands with which employees love to b associated. HRs need to bring to the forefront the work that they do. Identify stakeholders who can uphold their stakes and make their positions strong and shape up culture eventually

The changing role of HR-"Value creation is the new measure of success for the HR leadership community" HR leaders operate in a very different business environment to their predecessors. The psychological contract, rewarding employee loyalty with personal development, financial progression, and job security, has now been firmly replaced by the “boundary-less career,” with individuals frequently moving between organizations and across the boundaries between departments, functions, and hierarchies. “New HR”, far from striving to reduce staff turnover, now actively encourages it, to ensure the correct alignment of skills and people, as business strategies change.

Work Together: Make them work with different people in the company to understand everyone's needs. Let Them Try New Things: Allow them to come up with new ideas and see if they work. Check if It's Working: See if their ideas are making things better for the company and give them praise if they are.

I agree, but 'aligning' isn't 'driving'. If we're key to the FOW, and I agree we are, we need to do more. We need to develop people based business strategies. Strategy created from within HR that can *drive* the business, creating new opportunities for a business to set new or more stretching business goals. Informing, not just supporting the business.

Strategic change management is very important and leadership is an organization along with HR can play a major role in the same by promoting the workforce to embrace change, they can set examples for them for a better understanding.

In my HR journey, I've seen the transformative power of strategic alignment. By proactively identifying future skills needs and nurturing talent pipelines, we not only adapted to change but also thrived in dynamic environments. HR's strategic foresight doesn't just prepare us for the future; it shapes it, positioning our organization as a leader in innovation and resilience.

HR is past the days of simple hiring and firing (many still believe it to this day…) HR has to embrace tech. HR has to teach the company culture it’s real value. And those companies who have the same belief as me, are investing heavily in the field of HR.

My few cents would be: ⚡ HR in itself is so dynamic that in every workplace be it remote or onsite you would interact with folks at work and see how they're doing everyday. ⚡ If the human connections thrive in an organization it would lead to great results and indeed keep the company ready for the future. 🔮 ⚡ The future will one day be present and then past, so it is us HR as Human Resources that drive the organization towards the future with seamless communications and attempting to create a good working environment for all individuals at the workplace.

As an HR professionals, if we have to shape the future of work, The factors that I would take into my consideration would be: 1. Embracing technology for efficient processes and remote work. 2. Prioritizing employee well-being and mental health support. 3. Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. 4. Implementing flexible work arrangements to accommodate different needs. 5.
