What do you do if student disengagement is hindering classroom productivity?

Every teacher must have this key skill to give feedback of assessments in a timely manner. It must highlight what the student is doing correctly and incorrectly in a sensitive manner as the class is diverse. Some may require a nudge and others must be handled more gently to avoid damage to self-esteem. The feedback should target a specific skill and information about their learning. Feedbacks must consist of what can the student do/cannot do and how they can be done better. A good assessment should be recognised and rewarded to encourage the student and the peers. Positive feedbacks encourage improvement and motivations for the learners. A good teacher balances these feedbacks while aiming at a next target for the group to achieve higher.

Imagine a classroom where students have some control over how they learn.
