There will be always demand for a candidate with an up to date market knowledge. So keep learning and stay updated

And I get asked this all the time 😅 I will not pretend that there is any “silver bullet” answer — but, one that has worked for me has been to relate the varying critical and creative thinking skills that we receive from an economics background to either highly specific instances in the job description (when possible) or a very relatable anecdote that is somewhat generalisable across industry use cases. No matter what — this response (in an interview) requires introspection, preparation and coherence. I would not suggest spatting this on the fly.
