Meet new people! As a recruiter your network can literally make or break your career. Try to meet new people wherever you go and bring up any roles that you’re working on. You’d be surprised at how many relevant candidates you can add to your pipeline. Just yesterday I met up with a friend for coffee and she introduced me to another friend of hers. We got talking and I brought up what work I do and mentioned that I was looking to hire a system administrator and guess what? He was actually working as a system administrator and turned out to be a pretty good fit. His technical interview is scheduled next week!
