The best thing to do if this is an ongoing barrier to reaching the team would be to learn about both verbal and non-verbal communication and how to be a more effective presenter. The stronger your presentation skills, the more receptive the audience will be.

If they’re not willing to understand or learn from your failures, it should be either they haven’t faced failure or not willing to learn. In both cases we can always give some time to them for self reflection.
