I completely agree; I've noticed several times that due to global restrictions or tensions in some countries, we have to face a scarcity of certain products or higher logistics tariffs because shipping companies have to take alternate routes or make such arrangements to accommodate that condition.

Totally agreed. For example, we'll use sea transport as a resource. We have lately witnessed that due to Red Sea concerns, seafreights have skyrocketed. Another issue is that shipping companies must take an other route in order to avoid any consequences in that specific location, which increases transit time to the destination. As a result, many exporters have chosen air transportation to address all of these issues. We can see that due to a problem at sea, many switched to air transport, which indirectly strengthened the aviation business.

Social unrest in any country is harmful for the economy as well as for country itself. We have seen in history that scarcity of resources often led to riots & fall of governments, which will indirectly harm businesses and public properties. Moreover, foreign direct investments will also be impacted because no multinational company will invest in a country with social unrest. While running multinational companies or any exim company, it is essential to keep track of geopolitical situation of all concerned countries, which will indirectly benefit them from having any uncertain losses. At least have a safety net if anything happens.

Migration often happens to the areas which are developed or at least have sufficient resources to fulfil their needs. Migration can be a boon in terms of labour cost effectiveness and demand of the goods produced, but it also have its negative side which will be overpopulation, increase in crime and attracting other competitors to enter the market to take the share in the pie. Analysing the migration pattern can certainly benefit the business in developing the resources needed to fulfil the population or to establish new business in that particular area of migration.

I totally agree that resources scarcity can lead to innovation or invention of a particular product. Let’s take the example of serum institute of India. When Covid hit the globe, people were helpless and country needed vaccine to defend the virus. that’s when serum Institute of India made the invention of “Covishield”. The vaccine was hugely popular and accepted by many countries and people of India to prevent themselves from the Covid virus. it is the classic example of how scarce resources can lead to innovation.
