What are the latest developments in aircraft fuel systems?

There’s little doubt that SAF adoption is key to attaining carbon zero. It’s encouraging that the volume of SAF being produced is expected to see major increases in the coming years. Consider that the amount of SAF produced worldwide in 2022 tripled the output of 2021… This equated to 80 million gallons of fuel – or 0.1 percent of all jet fuel consumed, so we still have a very long way to go! We now need commercial interests and governments to support the international aviation community and do their bit to make SAF affordable and accessible worldwide. That is the big challenge.

The main cost while operating an aircraft or an airlines is fuel which is gasoline. For country like India which doesn't produces fuel is very costly . Bio fuel is one cost effective method on which India is currently focussing and it will help airlines to cut budget on fuel and be cost effective and provide competitive prices of tickets to customers
