These steps sound more simple when we start consideration of parameters like tolerances, Available space material with cross functional teams right from the start of the design requirements. Bottoms up method for having maximum inclusion at start of design will have maximum consideration and minimum charges later saving Engineering hours, equipment costs and timelines. Many tools based on cloud are available for plugin for ECAD, MCAD where each team member can have live update on progress of design parallel and review of it. Eg: Altium 365, Pdmlink, etc
