You go back to the basics, why do you want that career change. What would life look like after you've done the move? Having a vision helps someone get emotionally attached to that goal. Once you want it bad enough, it will become a bigger motivator than self doubt. We all have self doubt at times, the key is to not let that stop us from moving forward

It involves creating new beliefs, assessing financial considerations, and aligning strengths with their new career path. From there, it's about building a strong profile, acquiring any necessary skills or knowledge, and networking with the right people. Following these steps empowers clients to overcome fears and self-doubt, allowing them to confidently take the leap into a career they truly desire.

Writing really helps with this kind of challenge. I always tell my clients to jot down their strengths/skills and see how these strengths fit into your new role. If they find a skill they need to brush up on or learn , I encourage them to make a a plan to tackle it together, setting small, friendly goals. Achieving these goals is like giving confidence a big high-five. I would encourage mindful practices that maybe physical workouts, yoga, meditation or some fun activities to destress. And ofcourse , I never mince words when it comes to the universal truth that mistakes happen. We learn and grow.
