The first thing that must be done is to throw light on what you have gained from the loss, and that is a lesson. Set newer goals and celebrate every milestone. Keep pushing for team-development activities to boost confidence. This will surely have a positive impact on your team.

A product launch failure can feel like a punch to the gut, but it’s also a rare opportunity to redefine your team’s culture.
Start with a reverse success story: have each team member write how they’ll tell this failure as a future success. This shifts the mindset from defeat to growth.
Introduce a Failure Wall where everyone can post their biggest mistakes and lessons learned, turning failure into a badge of honor.
Finally, organize a creativity-focused team retreat outside the office. This change of environment sparks fresh ideas and strengthens bonds.

Honestly, how you hire from the start will dictate on how you can boost morale when things go wrong in a startup (and it will). Your hires in a startup need to be ready to pivot, and jump into different ideas in a heartbeat.
I have found that ex-military are some of the best hires because they understand the be ready for anything approach and can handle setbacks a lot easier.
In the end, it's all about how you lead and your leadership style. The more they understand your vision and focus and not just the tasks they need to do, the more they will be able to rally alongside of you even when things go bad.

To rebuild team morale after a major product launch failure, address the situation transparently and acknowledge the team's efforts and challenges. Facilitate a debriefing session to analyze what went wrong, and focus on extracting actionable lessons rather than placing blame. Reinforce the value of the team's hard work and resilience, and set a clear, positive path forward with revised goals and strategies. Celebrate small wins and progress to boost confidence, and encourage open communication and support to foster a renewed sense of purpose and unity.
