Well, you know what they say 'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!' It's mandatory to include all of the stakeholders in the launch call. I always share a production schedule with my clients and let them know at which points we need their feedback and approval before moving forward. I also let them know in advance that if there are changes after they've approved it, their request can be accommodated, but may require more time and increase in budget. By letting all stakeholders know up front how the process works, you can easily manage their expectations.

It’s crucial to engage key stakeholders early on in a video project - even before the cameras are rolling. We make it clear that the first edit we deliver is a polished, final version. We then share that with the key stakeholder in charge of the project, and if they’re satisfied, the video could go live immediately! The key to avoiding confusion or lack of feedback is having this one primary point of contact. They oversee all input from other stakeholders and ensure feedback aligns with the project’s goals. We check in regularly with this stakeholder during the editing process allow us to stay on track and usually mean we only need one round of amendments, as we aim to get it right the first time.
