You’re a construction worker. How do you keep your feet safe and comfortable on the job?

One thing I learned the hard way during my old days on site for choosing the right safety shoes. Do not choose the cheapest assuming that it’s just for work (since you’ll spend the most of your day wearing it), don’t choose the most expensive just to look fancy and unique. The two main criteria to be looking for are the comfiness and the safety. No matter how it looks ugly or nice always look for the comfiest to award any future pain and the safest to avoid any unexpected injuries. Always search for a shoe and read reviews before buying it and always try it on in the store for and walk for a couple of minutes. I know it’s not enough but it’s still better than blind buying it. Agreed and also consider personal hygiene measures and change the safety shoes at regular intervals. Or keep two pairs and use them alternatively.

I agree with choosing the right shoe. One also has to consider the safety compliance of the footwear he/she is wearing at various construction site.

It's very important to find boots that meet safety standards and regulations while also being comfortable for long hours of wear.

As per my experience selection of socks is main. If we are using nylon/polyester made socks will make leg start smelling... If your body/leg is sweaty type don't use the socks more than a day. Weightless safety shoes will be better for long time wearing High kneel shoes will also be good for long walking or long standing works. Am using safety shoe +1size of the usual size of shoe/sandels..

This one’s funny, when I was a runner I only ran in $25 a pair socks. This made a huge difference when running long distance. Limiting blisters and helping with fatigue. Then I worked in $2 socks, in the last year I changed that and the difference is noticeable.

Los mejores son semi sinteticos a nivel de tobillos asi son mas frescos y podras trabajar muy bien y las piernas no podrán sudar muchos

Working with good hygiene is a behavior for yourself but also for others. Do not forget we work in a community. Lack of hygiene cause disease.

The feet are like a tree’s roots. If the roots don’t function optimally, the tree suffers. The same applies to humans. That’s why it’s essential to pay special attention, whether through massages or care products, to ensure overall well-being.

Doing morning stretching always helped our crews on sites. As far as massaging my feet after a long day is most definitely a plus.

This one’s important, if you let things go you could develop a serious issue and possibly miss significant time. Take an afternoon, see the doctor and nip it in the bud.

Rest is a great way to recuperate after those long days. Kicking my feet up and getting that circulation going really makes the next day start off right.

As a construction worker, I ensure my feet stay safe and comfortable by wearing sturdy steel-toed boots with good ankle support. Additionally, I make sure my boots fit well and provide enough cushioning. Regularly inspecting them for wear and tear and replacing them when needed also helps maintain comfort and safety.

Take survey to workers for selecting several safety shoes variuos brands which one is comfortable prior to purchase. So in procurement process just do purchase with reference to the survey.
