1.Talk to the key stake holders if you already have them identified and onboarded. If not, do that first.
2.Define an acceptable performance range and make an exhaustive list of the performance drivers.
3.Do an impact analysis vis-a-vis each driver and system stability. Identify individual performance driver compoments which affect stability. 4.Take each component and work on it to reduce its effect on stability. Replace a component if required or do away with it simuntaneously keeping performance within acceptable ranges
5. When you're done, repeat step 3, ie, do an impact analysis. If you're still not satisfied, repeat step 4 and then repeat step 3
6. If the problem persists, ask key stakeholders to define a new performance range
