The biggest challenge today is that we are NOT using technology to our advantage. There are numerous tools such as Whiteboard, Mural, in-built notes feature on meeting invites, etc. that can be used as a collaboration tool during meetings. Document notes, and action items during the meeting so that there is no confusion and there is a clear record of what was agreed upon by everyone. Leverage technology to eliminate misunderstandings in virtual meetings. Use technology to fix the challenges created by technology.

Let’s agree, it is common complaint and most of teams facing that with virtual meeting as words only can’t transfer real feelings and reactions. You have to respect the diversity in culture, backgrounds and mentalities. Could you encourage them to open cam during the meeting? Take agreement for each meeting point before moving to another point.
