The best way is to invite parents to be part of your classroom once for observation and offer them to teach a class as well. Most of the parents will learn how much effort goes into the prep, delivery and back end work. This could also be used as a strategy to minimise the baseless accusations we often face as an institution. To some it may sound bizarre but having tried it , it worked in bringing the parent community closer to teaching community.
