Here is how I stay motivated after a job rejection: 1. Focus on what I need to improve on. Could be the answers to questions. It can be learning to ask better questions. 2. A no is "not now". It is not the end. It is a preview for the next interview. 3. Find more people who I can add value to. You can also keep in touch with the interviewer and check in every few months.

Understand confidence is an internal strength, not to be determined by external sources. Its stability comes from consistent self-trust to accomplish an aspiration. If this strength waxes and wanes like the moon because something doesn’t go our way, it signals an excessive attachment to outside circumstances for validation. Sentiments like disappointment and discouragement happen but they shouldn’t be so pronounced that they destroy self-confidence. Solutions: - Develop self-trust without superficial validation from titles and granted statuses. - Consider who you are without those titles and statuses. - Find something you do well and continue doing it. Let it reinforce competence, which will strengthen self-trust.

1. Realize this first: There are many reasons for a rejection, some of which may have nothing to do with you. a) the candidate was basically already known beforehand and it is possible that relationships with the final decision-maker played a role. b) The position was eliminated due to budget cuts. c) The company changed the requirements. d) It may not have been the right job fit or boss fit. Then the rejection saved you from a bad placement. 2. If you had the feeling that you could have performed better, see it as a learning opportunity. After all, Rome wasn't built in a day. Write down the individual questions again and optimize your answers and practice speaking out loud. Then you will be able to observe your progress step by step.

A pattern of rejections can be a sign that you are not fully aligned in your job market strategy. It is an opportunity to assess whether that role/company was really a fit to your needs. Emotionally, when rejections hit hard, it is often because we were trying to fill a void (i.e. needing to feel valued, secure, or accepted). If we are not rooted in our value, security and acceptance internally, rejection can bring up emotional wounds that live inside us. Our experience on the job market is certainly a space where wounds come to the surface for us to release. We need to build strong spiritual roots - knowing our value without approval of others AND all things work for our good. What is the lesson in the rejection and how can you grow?
