Remember your goals for the event and remember what you thought success would look like at this event. To prevent this in the future, make sure you have specific goals for each event you go to that align with your business goals. If you don't take the time to plan each event then you run the risk of not getting a good ROI.

If you aren't comfortable talking about yourself at networking events, then you have the opportunity to get curious about the people around you. Ask other people questions that you genuinely want to hear the answer to. Most extroverts love talking about their experiences, so getting them talking and continuously asking questions means less talking for you!
