The biggest productivity killer is the number of concurrent tasks at any point in time; the higher the number of concurrent tasks, the lower the throughput (amount of work done per unit of time) - this is a proven relationship in Little's Law. By adjusting WIP to the capacity available, productivity can be drastically improved. - Prioritise tasks according to Value and Impact and build a backlog - Involve stakeholders in prioritising tasks and decision-making - Know the capabilities, skills, and resources needed to complete high-priority tasks - Agree a definition of ready (what must be true to start the task) - Agree on a definition of done (what must be true for the task to be done) - Continually retrospect to improve and build trust

When managing multiple projects simultaneously, I start by understanding from the stakeholders which project has the highest priority so that I can define how my team should proceed. Next, I analyze the number of tasks for each project, as, to be honest, the number of issues often becomes our biggest bottleneck. Finally, I check if there is an opportunity for replanning and organize a feedback session with the stakeholders to align expectations and adjust any delays in the committed timelines. In fact we do not have a "recipe", but cases(sucess/Fails) to help us out in each project.

Consolidate Similar Tasks: Review and gather similar tasks across the project, managing them as a single task while incorporating relevant data from each project. Schedule Meetings: Arrange a meeting with the client and the project team to prioritize tasks for each project. Task Management: Classify tasks into two categories: Type A: Important tasks that are urgent and need immediate attention. Type B: Low-priority tasks that can be addressed later. Monitor Client Feedback: Keep track of client feedback through comments and follow-up meetings. Adjust the task list accordingly to ensure that the client remains unaware of any manpower shortages.
