Taking the time to have a quick conversation and learning just 1 thing about each of your students will go a long way. The room will already be buzzing with enthusiasm on day 1!

Moreover, offering individualized support to those who require additional assistance through one-on-one instruction or small group activities is crucial for addressing specific learning needs.

Aligning objectives with curriculum standards and students' learning outcomes provides a roadmap for instruction. SMART objectives, being Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound, enhance clarity and guide the teaching process. They empower educators to gauge student progress and tailor lessons for optimal learning, fostering a structured and purposeful educational environment.

Não basta somente "ter" um objetivo. É preciso que o grupo saiba. Comparo esta clareza com uma viagem onde todos saberão para onde irão. Por meio dos objetivos é possível avaliar com honestidade e, quando o grupo conhece quais são estes objetivos da aula, receberá tudo com maior resiliência e empatia. Do contrário, só se fará com que todos trabalhem no escuro. Além de tudo, o grupo perceberá a própria evolução ao longo do tempo.

Ensuring students have the necessary devices and internet connection guarantees equitable access to materials, fostering an inclusive and effective learning environment.

Uma boa aula possui materiais adequados e que fazem sentido. Imaginemos por exemplo um instrutor de voo livre tentando ensinar seus alunos com material de mergulho. Uma coisa não concorda com a outra. Ter os materiais adequados potencializarão a aula e darão o suporte que o aluno necessita para se desenvolver. Se a aula for online ou presencial, o material deve entrar em consonância. Dá mesma forma, é necessário fornecer ao aluno os materiais adequados.

Employing various types, such as formative, summative, diagnostic, and different tools like tests, quizzes, portfolios, and rubrics, ensures a comprehensive understanding of student achievement. Involving students in self-assessment and peer assessment not only fosters a sense of ownership but also encourages metacognition, enhancing their overall learning experience.

During the learning and teaching process, we can question students to assess their active engagement in the lesson. When students know they may be questioned, they are more likely to participate in the learning process.
