CRM tools are essential to help manage relationships with all stakeholders. Regardless of the business you're, the most successful business put a focus on clients and truly understand who they are, the problems they are facing and the opportunities ahead. It's important to think about the client experience and develop a customer journey map prior to building out your CRM tool. Ensure you develop a solid sales process, including timelines, sales stages and procedures to create consistent results with your sales team. Tip: most companies have their own crm that you should use. You should have your own personal system to track your most valued relationships that you can take with you to your next role.

By maintaining a comprehensive database of customer interactions, businesses can provide personalized experiences, address concerns, and offer targeted promotions, fostering customer loyalty. As a Relationship Building professional, in my current company we extensively use Microsoft Teams by fostering collaboration, using Video/voice/call/instant messaging, sharing pictures, and encouraging open communication in channels. Celebrate successes to strengthen team bonds.

For fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders, transparency is a very important factor. With tools like CRM and other tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams helps to pave a transparent path within all the communication and activities going on.

In addition to collaboration platforms, consider integrating communication tools, task management features, and file-sharing capabilities to enhance project coordination and efficiency. Collaboration Tools: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Asana, and Trello. These tools facilitate real-time communication, file sharing, and collaboration among team members. Effective communication is crucial for relationship building, and these tools can streamline the exchange of information within the project team.

My company is almost 100% remote spread across the U.S., so having an effective collaboration tool is paramount to the success of our teams and overall, the company at the end of the day. We use the Microsoft Suite of products, which includes MS Teams; this tool allows our teams to not only contribute to their internal team's success, but also cross-functionally with different departments. It eliminates the need to jump from Excel or Word, then to Outlook, as everything can be accomplished directly from Teams instead.

Trello or Asana: For that "I swear I'm organized" vibe. They're like digital post-it notes that somehow make you feel like you've got your life together. Trello's awesome for all you visual peeps with its board layout, and Asana's got those satisfying checklists that are lit. Slack or Discord: Because emails? So 2000-late. It's all about instant messaging now. Slack’s where it's at for those quick Q&A seshs, GIF wars, and the occasional "just checking in" messages. Discord's cool too, especially if you vibe with its gamer aesthetic.

Utilizing project management tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM can be instrumental. These tools enable efficient tracking of client interactions, centralizing communication, and ensuring seamless collaboration within the team. Integration with project management platforms such as Asana or Trello enhances task management and project coordination, facilitating successful relationship building through organized workflows and streamlined communication channels.

The ability to make data-driven decisions is critical to any business. The insights provided by these tools allow our team to approach clients and prospects in a consultative manner. Tools such as Jobs EQ, Power BI, and our own proprietary system, encourage more strategic business planning. At the end of the day, relationships are built on what you do with that information, how you partner with your prospects and clients, and how you show up day in and day out.

Analytics Tools: Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics. Analytical tools can provide insights into project performance and help you identify areas for improvement. This data can be valuable when communicating with stakeholders and making informed decisions to enhance relationships.

In my experience, analytics tools are top-notch at providing valuable visual insights into your company's data. However, this does not come without the effort of ensuring your database hygiene is up to par prior to massaging your data with these tools. Once your data is in a state of readiness, these tools have almost endless capabilities on how to display the data to make the most sense to your audience. And, while Power BI and Tableau are great tools, MS Excel still seems to be a powerhouse in this arena (and is a lot more user-friendly :) ).

CRM tools are only as good as the data other people have entered. Data hygiene is an issue I hear about daily when trying to get accurate reporting. Analytics that connect to your product or solution and track usage, adoption etc are great jumping off points in a customer conversation to dive deeper and learn more about your customer. Our own curiosity is the best tool.

Analytic tools can be incredibly helpful to gain insights you can use to help you build varying relationships, but only if they have valuable data, and you know how to interpret it.

Aber der Beziehungsaufbau zu neuen Potentialen geschieht immer noch via LinkedIN, stetiges posten von Wissen, Umfragen, Anfragen, Kontakte aufbauen. Aber auch die gute alte Telefonakquise darf nicht außer Acht gelassen werden, da die Menschen immer noch zu 80 % von der Person überzeugt werden und der Vertrauensaufbau über die Stimme nicht zu unterschätzen ist.
