In a professional career networking is a must, as it not only enhance your network but a support system when in need. Peer support you in the time of need to face the imminent problems. They also help you in getting the best possible opportunity..

Nowadays a professional doesn't get noticed only on the basis of his experience or academic achievement instead they are being recognised based on their industrial network. A good professional network helps you and guide you during tough times.

In my experience, there are three important groups of people to connect with when you find yourself out of work. Firstly, building your network with contacts in the recruitment industry will pay dividends with regard to job opportunities. Secondly, a good career coach can help you identify your career direction and iron out any skills gaps. Thirdly, a resume writer will be able to help you craft an effective resume and usually an "opportunity-attracting" LinkedIn profile. It's important to mention that career coaches aren't always skilled with resume writing and vice versa, but if you can find someone who can help in both areas, they are worth their weight in gold.

I firmly believe in augmenting your skill sets by attending professional courses to excel in your career path. Although experience and contacts are very important for career progression but additional certification and learning makes you ready for disruptive market trends.

The most important source of information that will inform your growth is from the client who just let you go. 1. Provide your client with a safe place to be completely honest. Indicate you are not trying to change his/her decision, but it is important to you to understand so you can grow as a coach. 2. Use your best questions to go a layer deeper. Ask for examples. Prompt your client for what would have made this journey more valuable. 3. Do not argue or counter any statements. Only seek to understand more deeply. Ask for examples. 4. Ask, 'What Else?' As a coach, you know that around the third 'what else', you are probably getting closer to the truth....and the learning!

En una situación así, puede ser un buen momento para tomarse el tiempo y comenzar nuevos caminos: trabajar en la marca personal, desarrollar nuevos canales de networking, restablecer contacto con colegas, clientes, amigos, etc. Si somos coaches, es porque vivimos de ello y creemos en ello, así que una buena idea es acercarse a un coach de carrera o un coach de vida. Esto nos ayudará a obtener una visión fresca y diferente sobre nuestra propia situación, y nos permitirá tomar perspectiva y acción. Lo más importante es no perder el tiempo y buscar ayuda. Al final, esta etapa es solo una transición hacia algo mejor.

You have been let go of your current opportunity...your own people have stabbed you in the back, what should you do as a sales coach? I agree with my friends here who are saying skill up further and find out the "why". What i have experienced in life is..most of the times when you are let go..it is not because of your skill. It is because the management has to cut jobs..or should i say..heads need to roll to reduce cost. Most of the other times it is because of organizational politics. Now , if you keep wasting time in the "whys"..the "whys" do not put food on the table. So Get up, Brush yourself off, be strong and hit the market, do direct sales for yourself, use Li, do sales..for yourself and get a new job! or a new consultant business!
