The Reality is, that it happened or that it is happening. Yes stress and anxiety may come over some of us. However it is now in our control as to what happens next. Do not bottle up these feelings in order to suppress, rather bottle them up as motivation to not be in this position again. From there you can put a plan of action together that make way for the "come back."

I typically update my skills every 6 months at a minimum. Most of the license require annual "continuing education" anyway. That said, there is no excuse for not refreshing skills at least annually. In order to stay competitive updated skills are a requirement
